Looking at regent from the front. A new window to be installed in the front panel. Looking towards the bedroom, seating still in place.  Kitchen cupboards can be seen in centre. Looking towards what will be the lounge area, currently office or work area.

 

 

 January 2003. Derek widening the archway between the centre & front compartments.   The other side of the archway  with re-building under way. Front bench still to be removed.   Simba & Tigger trying out the new bed & mattress.

 

 

 

Simba (the boss) keeping a close eye on the proceedings. This unit was in the front compartment & has been shortened & placed in the galley area. This unit was in picture 5 & is now where the seat was in picture 2. Still waiting for its end panel but the TV shelf is in place.

Looking at the same unit from the bedroom.   TV & microwave housing now complete. They travel on the floor. Feb 2003   12volt 110amp/hr on board power supply installed under seating. March 2003

 

 

The beast now has a professionally fitted front window. Easter 2003.   Next for the surgeon's knife to make way for the fridge & hob/grill.   Sink moved to make way for hob. New mixer tap fitted (DIY store special) The foot pump on the floor will have to go.

Truma gas/240v hot water & 12v electric water pump. Fitted May 2003. Seating will go over the top. Temporary fridge in place where 3 way fridge will eventually go. Stainless steel hob, cover & grill box fitted with space under for 3 way fridge. Next job, the gas.

Outside gas exhaust vent for hot water unit. Awning locker now complete for all those bits & pieces we need at times Dot now has a bed side cabinet. August 2003

Front seating & table complete. New upholstery will follow in 2004.Hot water & battery underneath seats. A new smart charger now looks after the battery. July 2004 Both bedside cabinets now in place. Only a padded headboard to be made now. Gas bottles now properly mounted on a galvanised frame which was made by our friend Graham who is a fellow member of the caravan club. The front window also now has a protective cover fitted by myself.

We finally have a 90lt Dometic 3 way fridge neatly fitted under the hob & grill. All the gas fittings in one place making for easier installation. August 2004 The final stage with the upholstery being completed in Macrosoft Plum  which has a 25 year guarantee & is easy to clean. Its a lot warmer than the old grey vinyl covers Feb 2005 The padded bed head now completes the bedroom. Feb 2005
